Speaking Of English

This site endorses multi-lingualism and debunks the idea that English is threatened -- quite the contrary -- and notes that the language is fluid and is in the hands of buffoons, ... and God bless them, every one.

What It Is

Begun as a Facebook page, inspired by a xenophobic invitation to join with the lament that businesses ask that you "press 1 for English," this is to remind people that English itself is an amalgam of many many languages and will always be, and that this country is a place populated by people from many many places and always will be.
